We handle high-precision, high-quality optical polished products such as ball lenses used in imaging lenses, infrared LED optical sensors, rod lenses, prisms, beam splitters, and flat plates. We are capable of processing with an accuracy of λ/10 or better on both sides, parallelism within 100nm, and 100μt (5inφ), etc. These high-precision, high-quality optical polished products are made possible by TSC, which develops high-precision polishing equipment.

TECHSPEC rod lenses are processed with a polished finish on the side surfaces and a sandblasted finish on the end surfaces. Their function is similar to that of cylindrical lenses. Parallel light passing through the center of the cylindrical section is focused into a line. We offer glass materials made of N-BK7 and synthetic quartz (UV grade) to accommodate various applications in UV, visible, and near-infrared ranges. A range of micro sizes is also available for implementation in many OEM applications. The outer perimeter is all optical polished and is custom-made, but optical polishing of the end face of the ground product is also possible.
